More transparency needed with vaccinations
As with most news media coverage pertaining to vaccinations, Scott O’Connell’s recent article leaves the reader with the impression that no credible sources question the safety of vaccinations. Further, those who question mandatory vaccinations are characterized as being misinformed, or not properly educated. Yet, for those willing to listen and to observe, there is considerable evidence that vaccines do cause significant damage in certain individuals, either from the antigens or adjuvants, or from their interaction when multiple vaccines have been administered. This damage in many cases is far in excess of the potential injury from the disease being vaccinated against. Many have advocated for further research to identify and protect those who, for reasons of genetics or otherwise, should not be administered certain vaccines. However, the march for higher vaccination rates continues at full throttle despite the lack of adequate research on this front. While we do not doubt the sincerity of many who favor stricter vaccination requirements, we are well past the point of needing a much more balanced discussion of this complex topic. This should occur before any further tightening of the exemption requirements takes place. A balanced discussion means one that includes questions about the extent of vaccine research, testing, and production oversight, and one which does not seek to diminish the viewpoints of those asking the questions. Having direct experience with vaccine damage within our own family, we believe that more transparency is needed on this important topic, including publication of the ingredients of each vaccine.
